What is the EAR registration number, WEEE directive

According to the requirements of the EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment WEEE Directive (2002/96 / EC), EU member states are responsible for the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment in various countries.

Germany has established the ElectroG Act (Electronic Appliance Act) according to the WEEE Directive. According to the requirements of the Act, each manufacturer or importer must complete the registration of their products. The Act began on March 16, 2005. The German government authorized Stiftung EAR to manage the registration of various manufacturers.

In short,

1. In order for the EU to recycle all electronic products in a pollution-free manner, you need to first analyze which part of your product is recyclable and which part is non-recyclable.

2. When your product is scrapped in Germany, you need a company to recycle your product. It cannot be discarded as you would in China, or sold directly to a scrap shop, so you need to find a professional recycling company.

3. The seller and the recycling company sign a recycling contract and submit the contract to the EAR for review. After the review is passed, the WEEE-RegNummer will be issued to the seller by the EAR.

The WEEE registration process is as follows:

1. The merchant fills in the German recycling registration application form.

2. The recycling company draws up a recycling contract.

3. The merchant signs and signs back.

4. The recycling company signs the contract back and the contract becomes effective.

5. The merchant receives the bill and pays.

6. Recycling company provides the contract and merchant registration information to EAR for review

7. The WEEE code is issued after the EAR audit, and it is entered into the German electronic recycling computer query system.

8. If the system stops updating for six months, the EAR will lock your product list and require you to re-register.
